Never heard of the Chad of Trixie names here in New England. but noticed it a few years ago for the first time in the Chicago Craigslist personals.

Wouldn't all cities have such types of people, though? But I understand what and who it refers to, as in the Boston and New England area. It fits as well.

It exists everywhere in the world. Not cultural, just life.

Chad/Stacy is a more widespread internet stereotype. Trixie is specifically Chicago.

I know 4 different Chads and none of them fit this stereotype. I think the name is just picked from a bucket though and it refers to the overall type of person it's trying to describe. It's more likely that if your name is something like William Preston the 3rd then you're an over-entitled north shore brat with a law degree.

I feel North Shore names would be a bit more like Adam or David and last names something that ends with stein, man, or burg.

Those of you who think Chad is an in appropriate name for this type of dude might be too young. There are many real-life Chads out there, but they are now mostly age 35-50 or so. They were in their 20's back when the stereotype was named.

Trixie, on the other hand-- I'm not sure I've ever met a real one, unless it was her stripper name.

Nowadays, wouldn't "Meghan" be a similar name to a Trixie? Maybe "Scott" or "Ryan" for a Chad?

All region specific. In the South they'd have a name like Bryce

The Chad I knew online whom I referenced in a previous post is now 47.

I've never heard of any Trixie except for Ed Norton's wife on The Honeymooners.

A Chad is often a 30/40-something F*ckboy. But not all Chad's are F*ckboys.
A F*ckboy is late teens/20-something guy of a certain disposition. But not all late teen/20-something guys are F*ckboys.

But I'm just guessing. I think it sounds good though.
