Fluke? In 2000, Bush got 21.54% of the vote and Gore got 71.74%. Nader got 6.07%. Hard right Buchanan got 0.16% of the vote. Browne (the Libertarian candidate) received just 0.42%. On

Jeez. That's very disappointing. Hopefully a lot more smart people have moved in the last few years!

Well, I'd like to thank you for the implication that I'm dumb, and pass along a sincere invitation to locate your head, remove it from your rectum, and realize that intelligence has about as much to do with political affiliation as does blood type or deodorant brand.

In other words, let's agree to disagree. Get over yourself and I'll buy you a beer at one of the bars that Dover (also a self-described conservative, and by all indications a superbright guy) recommended to me.

Do you have some hemp to weave or granola to eat. Perhaps you need a haircut?

Thanks for making all those on this forum who have met me in person laugh. It's good to laugh.

Anyway, I hope all this bickering hasn't made the OP not want to come to our city!?!?

Its ok, they are bickering about politics at this point on the Denver thread now too...quite comical really. I guess it always boils down to that!

Well our thread is funnier, I must say the Denver thread the OP started, which has unravelled at a similiar rate, is a bit more....hmmm....civil, and allowing of independence in thought (i.e., you can own a $1000 baby stroller and be a democrat!) (of course I know some here allow for that too, they are just being sarcastic, a Chicago trait I might add).

So Mr. OP take this into account
Chicago - funnier and less tolerant of expensive baby strollers
Denver - They dont like gay's but you can be a democrat that does not like gays, not real funny, but pretty nice.

Actually, I prefer to eat the hemp and weave the granola thankyouverymuch. But it is indeed true that I need a haircut (but I'm a woman, so perhaps you prefer I don't cut my hair?)

And the cost/political affiliation tipping point as it relates to baby strollers is $666.67. Fact.

As for the OP, if you are conservative in the way that Drover is conservative, you'll be fine, just a bit frustrated at times. If you are conservative in the way our 'little friend' is conservative you will be openly mocked and people will most likely pour beer on you at the corner pub.

666.67, eh? So that's what the whole "mark of the beast" thing was about.

Also, I couldn't even begin to have a problem with "our little friend"s political leanings. I just have a problem with his turdishness.
