Remember around Cumberland from Belmont to the Higgins you have a ton of Cops that live there. East of there you have Oriole Park which is a huge Cop area. That keeps crime very low in the area.

Last I checked Logan square had more crime than Portage Park and yet for what you'd spend $400k on housing wise in Portage you'd have to spend $600k in Logan.

I passed through Portage Park a couple times last time I was in town. I thought it was OK and didn't feel unsafe, but that Irving Park/Cicero/Milwaukee intersection - yikes.

dont move to Catherine Courts… i know someone who moved out after living there.. its not safe.

oh thats why its called Six Corners. i used to shop over there when i was in high school.
