You could pretty much make the case for most clubs too. Most don't have TV in the sense of showing random stuff on it if they even have one. Most don't actually use them.

Wait, I thought there were barely any TV-less bars in Chicago!

Some of these things just come with living in a big city.

Public transportation increase is happening all over.
Pot holes comes with living in the city with snow removal.
Northside residence have to feel good about themselves so they have to look down on someone. It's shows when they are vocal about not going south of Roosevelt.lol. I don't loose any sleep over them not liking my neighborhood.

This TV thing is stupid. We were in SF recently for a wedding. We went to quite a few bars while there with friends who live there. Every place had a tv.

No kidding. In any city with snow and therefore salt, there will be potholes. This isn't unique to Chicago. It happens all over the midwest and other cold weather areas. As my mom used to say "There's two seasons in Minnesota - Winter and road construction." Public transit here is still a hell of a lot cheaper than driving and I don't know why people complain so much about it. Okay so they increased the monthly pass by $17 or whatever. I bet you tons of residents spend more on soda per month alone than that.

Of course it is. Most bars in most big cities in the US have TVs in them and this notion that bars with no tvs are hard to find within Chicago is false, as we've shown. Of course if your nightlife world revolves around particular parts of the north side then I guess it's harder, but if you don't know any, I'm sure Google can tell you.
