I just started playing this game and it is set in Chicago. Played a Chinatown scene but it was a fictionalized Chinatown, - not too accurate modeling of it. Anyone play this game a lot more? How many more noticeable Chicago scenes are in it?

I haven't played the game, but I've been following some of the news for it. I know one level takes place inside the Harold Washington Library. However, from what I can tell, it too is a fictionalized version of its innards. I thought about renting it. Is it any good? I wish they would've been more accurate with the locales. The Chinatown mission could've easily been placed inside the Chinatown Square mall. Perfect setting for a level.

One video game that might do a better job of replicating Chicago might be Watch Dogs due out early next year.

Yeah, I heard of Watchdogs. Usually I wait for a video game to go on sale, then I buy it. If it's a new release and it seems very interesting, then $30 is the most I will pay for a game. Sometimes a game can hit $15 after 6 months... So I usually wait. I bought Hitman on sale never knowing it was set in Chicago.

This game sounds interesting, I love games set in Chicago. However, when you say it's inaccurate that makes me kind of step back from purchasing this game. I have some are some quick questions regarding the accuracy of this game compared to the real Chicago:

1) Does this game depict the skyline accurately? Are major buildings missing?

2) Can you free roam? And if so, are any parts of the city BESIDES Downtown Chicago explorable?

3) Are you aware that your screenname represents one of the greatest sexual positions of all time?

4) Can you ride the L in this game?

5) Do random people ever approach Hitman for weed or crack in this game?

6) Are there any references to Jay Cutler's preformance or Derrick Rose's rehab progress in this game?

7) Do the pedestrians talk and act like Chicagoans?

8) Can Hitman swim in Lake Michigan?

9) Any gangs in this game?

10) Can cops put a boot on your car in this game?

I wonder if GTA will ever make a game based on Chicago. Like a fictional Chicago in the 1920's. That would be pretty cool

1) Does this game depict the skyline accurately? Are major buildings missing? Not too much skyline is modeled.

2) Can you free roam? Somewhat, but the game is limited to specific scenes, it's not like LA Noire. And if so, are any parts of the city BESIDES Downtown Chicago explorable? No other parts explorable.

3) Are you aware that your screenname represents one of the greatest sexual positions of all time? 69 is when I was born.

4) Can you ride the L in this game? You get on the L but don't actually move in it.

5) Do random people ever approach Hitman for weed or crack in this game? No.

6) Are there any references to Jay Cutler's preformance or Derrick Rose's rehab progress in this game? Huh?

7) Do the pedestrians talk and act like Chicagoans? Check youtube video of this game.

8) Can Hitman swim in Lake Michigan? No.

9) Any gangs in this game? No.

10) Can cops put a boot on your car in this game? No
