That sounds familiar, like I've seen those, but I am not certain. I'll be sure to check next time I'm there and report back.

This is on topic. The decor/ambience are part of any restaurant experience, $5 meal or more. Otherwise you'd just eat at home.

I have no problem discussing the experience. I have a problem with putting someone elses experience down or fighting with someone because you don't agree with them. There are ways to disagree. Such as, "In my experience I have never seen that but i have seen this." Interestingly enough it is a lot more fun to get creative in your objections to another poster than to call names or put down another post.

I am not specifically poiting to anyone poster, just want to make sure that we are on topic and follow the rules of the road, namely the Terms of Service.

Hey another one for dessert is Margies on Western. Honestly every time I eat there it's a meal for me. I'm not sure if I would survive dinner first then Margies, I might explode. But they do have some of the best ice cream in town for about, you guessed it, 5 bucks!

I took the family to Margies for the 1st time this past summer. The scoops are absolutely huge for the price. Kids loved it.

Ha, yes! I took my kid this summer and laughed my butt off as she grimaced while a mom was requesting an "extra small" kids sundae for her daughter.

She was like "extra small?! why would you want to order that?!"

Then my kid proceeded to not be able to finish her kids size sundae.

Super Dawg on Milwaukee and Devon. Great chicago dog and their fries are probably my favorite (except for the duck fat fries at hot dougs). Lovely little retro drive through with the car hops. They also have great shakes too.

Billy Goat Tavern and it's a sit down pace to boot. Most of their menu is under 5 bucks. Cheeseborger, cheeseborger...yep 5 dolla.
