I'll stick with old M Squad episodes on YouTube.

I thought it was a big joke, very terrible and almost embarrassing.

For some reason, tonight's episode was just not very interesting to me.

They really should have found a way to get the people behind "Southland" involved in the production of this show. The acting is horrible and plots are not very engaging in "The Chicago Code." I will continue watching for the sheer fact that I like to see some of our landmarks and the recognizable CPD uniforms and cars. The fact that the main detective is an Aussie and my wife is also an Aussie helps a little, too.

This episode was way better than last week's. Not as much over-the-top "Chicago tough" b.s. compared to last week. I don't think the show is great, but I'll stick with it for a bit longer to see if it keeps improving.

I'm predicting tonight's episode to have more unnecessary shouting, 1 cub/sox reference, a interogation scene with bullying, and other cliche cop stuff that's way over the top.

It's mediocre, if I'm home, I'll probably watch it, but I don't seek it out. The accents need a bit of work, and the story is rather implausible, but it certainly isn't the worst cop show I've ever seen.
