Despite the gaffes, I thought this show was starting to hit its stride. I also liked how they filmed beyond the "front yard" and dove into the real neighborhoods in Chicago.

I, for one, am disappointed in its demise.

LOOKS LIKE I WAS TOO GENEROUS.

After not even 1 season.

The show is done!!! YEAAA!!!
Just curious, whether you liked the show or not, why would you celebrate the cancellation of something that had, thus far, pumped $25 million into the local economy?

I am disappointed (though not surprised). I thought the show had promise and Jennifer Beals was great.

That's TV for ya.

I was actually getting into it. I probably would have never started watching it if it wasnt in Chicago, but still.

I've watched it a few times, but it really gets too me just how far they've gone beyond reality. Especially with the corruption thing. Then you have the silly drug deal in exchange for car thing going down in the middle of a large open lot on a sunny day - right downtown. haha.

The whole boystown one also annoyed me. A cruising spot by backing into a dark alley in boystown? Right. The alderman making a huge scene about "HIS community" and how the gays are all powerful and such a tight community who work as one unit. As if he was the mayor of the gays instead of an alderman of tens of thousands of people, some of whom might be gay.

I only caught about 7 min total of this TV show, and you are describing what I saw, it was pretty far fetched. However, there are very few shows that really showcase a city correctly, I thought NYPD Blue came pretty close, I have heard the wire does as well.

Bottom line, advertisers didn't want to give this show a chance, oh well, life goes on....

I'm actually in Crystal Lake, and I'm from Houston anyway. I really didn't see any point to the show. I see it from a perspective, that if I'm gonna watch a show then I want to be entertained, I don't want to be bothered with dramatic over drama.

There has to be some kind of relate-ability or characters that I care about. I didnt care for the characters, I couldnt even tell you any of their names. I didnt really care to fill my mind with useless TV show garbage.
