Thanks,
We had a good experience with Mark Wilczak. (Secure Choice Property Inspections, Inc.) We heard lots of good things about him from prior clients of his.

He's very thorough, and will find everything wrong or potentially wrong with the house.

We just got a report from Mark Wilczak. (Secure Choice Property Inspections, Inc.) and he way over inflated the repair costs so much so that we didn't feel he was objective or professional. I am filling this out because we are also filing a complaint about him.

Excited: Congrats on the successful home transaction! I'd recommend giving Rich Edgley of Greater Chicagoland Home Inspection a call. His number is:
Office Phone: (708) 257-0330
Cell Phone: (708) 257-0330
Rich has the expertise and experience to do a good job for you. He's also a very nice man ... so you'll be comfortable having him do the work in the home.
Best of luck to you. If you need anything else, write again!

There is a pretty infamous home inspector working in the near-West suburbs (e.g., La Grange, Western Springs, Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, etc.) that deliberately sabotages the first inspection so that the transaction falls through and he's called on again in the second transaction so he can make a few extra bucks. I wish I had the guy's name.

Default Sabotage Inspector

Does Tom Corbett ring a bell, Tomacor? He's well known for blowing things way out of proportion.
