THese arent suburbs (Rockford, Belvidere), but I figured Id post them here anyways. I had to run out to Rockford today, Im surprised how much construction is going on up there, especially during the recession. Saw several new medical buildings up, a few new car dealers (including Porsche), new restaurants, etc. Keep it up, Rockford!

Ahh! I miss the snow already! I go to school at the University of Minnesota but I'm back home in O'Fallon for winter break..looks like we won't have a white Christmas; it seems like Springfield is usually the cutoff for snow around this time of year..
