Post Buffalo Grove

Art booth at BG Days

Big field of sunflowers next to Lake Cook Rd...I think it's technically in Wheeling, but that's close enough

Twin towers of Lake County...at one point these were the tallest structures in the county; I'm not sure if they still are.

Post Elk Grove

My favorite forest preserve: Busse Woods

Also, I just found out a week or two ago that there are actual elk in another forest preserve in Elk Grove. I have yet to go there and take pictures, but it's on my to-do list.

Still affordable. Just have to look at the right areas. I'm from Naperville originally, Plainfield, Oswego, Geneva & St. Charles as well as Warrenville and other burbs are more affordable and doable. Just depends on what you're looking for, and what you're willing to compromise. Might not have a 3 car McMansion in Naperville, instead a 2400 sq ft 3 car garage in a nice subdivision for 350K.
