Those Laguna Chevelles had nice lines, but they must not have caught fire with the public, I can't recall the last time I saw one. I learned to drive in one-my driving instructor had one set up for dual controls. Damn, now I have to check CL for yet another car...

true about those, but for some reason they didn't do it for me like the Monte Carlo did so i didn't pay much attention to them

The Eldorado and Riviera were a different class of car. The T-Bird was in it (although the first 2 were FWD) until around 1976 when Ford downmarketed it to the Grand Prix, Monte Carlo, Cutlass Supreme, etc. class.
