I myself, tho a huge fan of early 70's mid sized and full sized Mopars, love the 73 Monte Carlo styling much more than the Chevelle; in fact i prefer the Laguna Chevelles so maybe the term "European" might mean something
Those Laguna Chevelles had nice lines, but they must not have caught fire with the public, I can't recall the last time I saw one. I learned to drive in one-my driving instructor had one set up for dual controls. Damn, now I have to check CL for yet another car...
Seriously? What about Eldorado, Tbird, 300, Riviera, and Grand Prix.
The Eldorado and Riviera were a different class of car. The T-Bird was in it (although the first 2 were FWD) until around 1976 when Ford downmarketed it to the Grand Prix, Monte Carlo, Cutlass Supreme, etc. class.
I was going to include it in my response but got distracted.
