Hi y'all. I've got to redeem some canceled airline credit before February is over, and I'm strongly considering taking a three or four day vacation to Chattanooga.

I was wondering if anyone could suggest an affordable bed and breakfast, preferably with a view.

If anyone is ever planning on visiting St. Petersburg, FL - I can certainly offer suggestions in return.

Thanks a lot!

The Bluff View Inn, in the art district. Take a look at their website.

I've never stayed there, but in a previous life (before we actually moved here) my wife and I had the Chanticleer Inn on a short list of places to stay during a vacation to Chattanooga. It's up on Lookout Mountain right at Rock City. I don't know if the Inn itself has a "view", but the drive up there is spectacular.

Edit: I don't know if that place meets your "affordable" criteria, though... Plus it's about a 20+ minute drive down Ochs Hwy to get to downtown.

I've heard so many good things about this place. It's away from downtown and all the action but a great getaway nonetheless! If the OP wants to be near the action then the Bluff View Inn is the place to be.
