Hi all,

I'm moving to Chattanooga Tomorrow, short notice by my employer. I'm currently in AL staying in a hotel that my employer is paying for, but they will only pay 1 week's worth in TN.

I stayed in my RV while living in Missiouri for 6 months, but I'm not sure if it'll get cold enough to freeze my pipes in Chattanooga from now until it gets warm.

I'll be working close to the UT Chattanooga, for the railroad. What is a close RV park that is open year round and that is nice to stay at? Any recommendations? I could stay at a long term hotel as well.

My wife and son are renting an apartment in Johnson City, TN and just signed a 6 month lease that goes through the end of July. So unless I want to have my son change schools and give up my deposit, I'll need to leave the wife and son in JC, Tn until the summer and then rent a real house.

Any thoughts?

Tony

Default POSSUM Creek - COunty (C.FROST) park?

T> NOt sure if the county park is open this time year. The one near me POSSUM Creek & the north bigger sites SALE CREEK is sort year round, new manager leases / runs for TVA, quite nice, but some night below 32 degrees.
Also close to Hixon ,County park is Knight of Columbus park on water, quite large, seasonal long term stay, ???
Maybe just rent a ROOM for the next cold month. Close to the city .?

Shipps RV Center 423)892-8275
Best Holiday Travel Park 423)891-9766

These are just over the GA border in East Ridge. Very handy to I24.

There is a KOA by lookout mountain. You can check out KOA.com. There is also one on nickijack lake by the dam can't remember the name of the road to get there. But there is a sign off the interstate. 20 minutes west of Chattanooga. Look out mountain would be closer.

Where'd who go? :-)

I drove my car up to Chatt on friday, drove my truck and RV up here today (sat). My employer is paying for a few days of hotel time, I'm staying at the Choo Choo.

I'll be looking around tomorrow for permanent diggs.
