Are there any places near South Charlotte that serve high tea? Looking for a neat place with scones, clotted cream, petit fours, finger sandwiches etc....tea served in pretty china! Wanna dress up my little cutie pie and take her out for a mommy/daughter date!

I attended a baby shower in a cute tea house north of Columbia, SC in the fall but haven't really noticed any places in the Charlotte southern region. I think I remember Gastonia having one years ago but not sure if it is still in business.

Thank you! Any idea about the price? Would they frown upon toddlers at the resort?

We plan to go to the Empress Hotel for tea when we vacation next year in Vancouver/Victoria and thought it would be fun to practice!
