I was wondering if there were any fine dining restaurants in Charlotte or the surrounding areas that had a black tie dress code or something similar? I have tried to search for them repeatedly but can't find any info. I've come across several restaurants that look very nice and are quite pricey but in my previous experience people often still wear casual clothes to those type of places. Any info would be appreciated.

Hmm. I don't think there has been one like that here since the Lamplighter.

Not any that I know of in Charlotte or that I was about to find. Wrong decade, I guess. Everything is more casual these days.

I just want to add that even though there isn't a "dress code". We dress up for my birthday every year. I don't care that some people show up to these nice places in jeans.... I love dressing up in my fancy dresses!
