Maybe t was to deter people breaking into cars or something? When I used to live in Ohio City (Cleveland) the ghetto birds would fly low and circle over the whole neighborhood on weekends to deter bad behavior. I'd always wave at them

Independence is playing at Providence tonight. Could be part of it.

There was one last night also in the same area, around 11. It just kept circling. Couldn't see a searchlight, so it could have been Medevac.

Yes about the same time yesterday maybe it was around 10:30pm all I kept hearing was sirens. I just figured maybe it was a police chase or something. I thought to myself this is LA all over again.

Well, the police chopper was probably because of the armed bank robbery of Wachovia on 51 earlier today

That police helicopter was still at the arboretum at about 7:15pm. I went inside to Mickey & Mooches so didn't hear it after then but i did wonder too what was going on. I don't think it was anything to do with football game but I didn't realise that Wachovia had been robbed.
