The Melting Pot is a great deal, if you like that sort of thing - a nice variety of foods. The website has links to all of the restaurants with their special menus posted.
We just moved here in November, and it looks like fun to me - especially considering the children will be away at Camp Grandparents for that week :-P
Love Restaurant Week! Last go around I did two with my best friend and one with DH.
Capital Grille is a favorite of mine. And we have been fortunate enough to get outstanding service, courtesy of an awesome waiter, each time. Gotta love those Stoli Dolis.
Of course, we always spend a lot more $$$ than intended!
If you like a variety of meat, I highly recommend Chima Brazilian Steakhouse. Check out there menu, it is all you can eat featuring 17 varieties of meat, poultry, and fish. If you go, do not eat breakfast and lunch as the amount of food is sinful!
I second the Chima recommedation. Very worth it! Huge wine selection and awesome upstair bar. If you're ever in Myrtle Beach, Rioz at Broadway at the Beach is even better (if that's even possible)!
Now regarding restaurant week, I'm certain if they would change it from 30 to 20 I would see more value of this promotion. 30 dollars a person still seems like a lot a money. Granted it's all relative.

My friend just told me that Atlanta Restaurant Week is $25. $25 sounds like a better deal, however, I will support one restaurant for Charlotte's Restaurant Week.
Yes two people. We had just spent $100 at Cheesecake a few days before. Yummy as well!
