I can name 3 off the top of my head in Indian Trail/Monroe within a 5 mile radius of my home that cost well over $750K, one of which is at least 1.5M and is 10000 sq feet. So this area may still have a lot of rural but the "upscale" is still here. Just not as prominent and dense as Weddington/Marvin, plus with that you may get a good deal on one of these homes due to the area. Of course the $1.5M is not for sale as it belongs to my husband's boss.

The area is very rural still. You can't really classify it as one way or another. I've seen very expensive homes next to trailer parks here. I would say the Union County area is a mish mash of everything.

The area is still pretty rural but homes in Weddington/Marvin do sell for more than the ones in Stallings/Indian Trail/Monroe.

But, you can buy a $750,000 home in Weddington and still have a trailer beside you. If that sort of thing bothers you, I'd check out the Meyers Park/Dilworth areas.

Personally, I love the charm of Union County-for as long as we can hold on to it!

Indian Land in SC is becoming more and more upscale. It's not as upscale as Ballantyne, Marvin, and Weddington, but it is becoming a more desirable place in which to live.

AND it's also very close to Ballantyne!
