I can't tell you how many people have
insisted that it'll be easy for them to find something once they move here only to be out of work for five, six, seven, eight months. Do a little search around here and you'll see plenty of horror stories of people who had to settle for a lot less or had to make a career switch just to get something. Many people such as myself, drawing from our own experiences, have said that the biggest mistake you can make is coming here without work.
I hope you guys have a decent reserve of cash you'll be willing to dip into if needed.
