I sure do wish everyone would give an older home a chance. Our house in Waxhaw on 2.11 wooded ac. still has not sold. I cannot believe this! Across Providence road south from our street is a 2 ac. lot for sale for 79,000.
I cannot for the life of me understand why everyone wants a house on a postage stamp lot where you can see your neighbors at the kitchen sink.
Well sorry about that, just had to vent!

I was just thinking about you earlier today and wondering what your status was. So sorry nothing has changed! Did you try a new realtor?
the realtor we have now will not release us from our contract so we are stuck until March 6th. I appreciate the contact that you gave me, I have talked with her.
Sorry to hear about your home not yet selling. It looks really nice too. I can only say on the opposite end of a more postage stamp type lot for us is because our 8 1/2 year old son still in his life has no friends so we are hoping developments full of homes will change that for us. I am just offering a different perspective on the land size. Is your home part of a development/community?
Miklaur, Yes our house is in a subdivision called Providence Pines, it is just that everyone has 2-4 ac. lots for their house. Some have horses and kids are all through the neighborhood. My little girl rode her bike down the hill and to the left to the neighbor across the street so they could play together.
It is calm and peaceful, no traffic and no noise.
I sold one down the road from there that was on 5 acres. The property is off the main road but considered part of Providence Pines. It was a great bargain for that much acreage.
