We are moving from New Jersey to Waxhaw this summer. My husband has a 10hp snowblower but we are not sure if we should try and sell it before we move, or will we need it? Thank you in an advance for your replies!
Sell. You may never need it. I have lived in and around CLT for 37 years now and I would not have ever needed it. It may have been fun to use every 5th winter when you get 5 or 6 inches of snow but why take up that extra space in the garage.
Unless you can use it to do something aside from blowing snow, it will be useless here. You will only be able to sell it for the motor if you bring it to Charlotte.

Sell....I would bring a lightweight snow shovel. Been here just about 4 yrs and used the shovel once to clear my walk of slush that melted the next day.
You will likely never need a snow blower here. Sell it and buy a seed spreader for use with salt. That's all you'll need. If you do need a blower, everything will be closed. Everything.
