Are you talking about Pod? I would LOVE even just one Stephen Starr restaurant in Charlotte!!!

Unfortunately, Charlotte lacks conveyor-belt sushi. (That I know of.)

Yeah actually I was! Are there any restaurants in Charlotte that are of the same caliber as Starr's?

Default Stephen Starr

From Philly and love them all!! We frequent Jones for Mac and chesse everytime we are up...some restaurants that we found in Charlotte that are similar are 131 Main and New South..no cool sushi though.

My older sister used to live right at Washington Square, so Jones was a favorite breakfast spot. El Vez, Tangerine, Morimoto...ahhh...

I haven't found any yet I like as much, unfortunately... We've been meaning to get to 131 Main since we've been back though, so your suggestion is encouraging, mj!

The closest ones, imho, might be the Harper's Restaurant Group (Mimosa, Arpa, Zink, et al) but I haven't yet tried M5.

Default McNinch

If I was looking to spend big dollars, it would undoubtedly be at McNinch House. Haven't been yet, but maybe Warren will take me next time we're in town.
