Hello all,

I am taking my fiance to dinner tomorrow night for his birthday and (Since we just moved to Charlotte from Raleigh), I have no idea where to take him for dinner. We want something in the city so we can maybe grab a drink after, but just don't know where do go.

Any suggestions would be great!

I think the most romantic view is Bentleys-- that would be really nice, especially since you are new to the city--
Welcome to Bentley's on 27 - A Visionary Dining Experience

Capital Grille, Sullivans, LaTorres would all be nice too.

My boyfriend and I just went to Sullivan's last weekend and it was wonderful. I would highly recommend it (and the raspberry souffle)!

I would choose Bently's or Blue.

If you don't mind spending $100-$150 then go to Ruth's Chris or Mortons, the best steaks and sides you have ever put in your mouth. RC has a sweet-potato casserole that is the best! Drink water, of course, during your meal so you can have drinks somewhere less expensive afterwards.

Depending on your budget, i will recommend Sullivan's, Bentley, Blue and Pewter Rose.
Good luck!

Ten years ago, it was impossible to get an affordable mean in Charlotte. It has changed lots since then. I want Tanner's to come back.
