My family and I were in charlotte this week to look for a home. We woke up on saturday and decided to go to breakfast at crackel barrel at around 11am, half way there we decided to change and go to IHOP. Later that day we saw the news of this robbery suspect entering Crackel Barrel. WOW, talk about some crazy ****.....THANK GOD!!!

Just posting this link referencing the robbery the op mentioned, since Sunny has asked us to verify the crime stories we talk about here

Good thing no one was hurt by this idiot!

Thanks you do a good job for the spirit of the forums of keeping things legit

I did not realize biscuits from Bojangles and Cracker Barrel was such a hot commodity.
Both places I do not see how you would think you are going to get away with it without being caught by all the witnesses and employees.
10:30 on a Saturday morning right at the peak or end of peak of breakfast crowd.
This definite gets in the stupid crooks book. Surprise he did not break any gnomes.
I broke a lamp shade at one and I thought they would have had me doing dishes. (not a place I would do that since they use a dish for everything)

This was just a random act the crook was arrested and Im sure he is hurting from hitting those type of guard rails least they look like they would hurt.

I was in town yesterday and today, and ate at Cracker Barrel- which one did this happen at, the Concord Mills Blvd one or the Dale Earnhardt Blvd location (I assume the DEB)?

I've been gone for 6 months and I know this is just because I have acclimated somewhat to a less congested area, but the Concord area is changing so rapidly it looks much different, in just 6 months. Drove by my old house and the new owner is not taking care of the yard- crazy weeds, grass in bad need of cutting, fruit trees and bulbs have been neglected. It was depressing!

We have 2 acres now, and I felt a bit claustrophobic in my old neighborhood as well, but I am still resistant to change and homesick as heck. I just don't miss the increasing crime but I also DON'T MISS the increasing crime--it's everywhere (in my new area too).
