I see a few too but they don't bother me. I guess living Uptown that is something that you don't even pay attention too. I have lived Uptown for 7 years and have never been harassed by a homeless person.
The Police use to run them off of Tryon St and that was so in-humane. They are people too and God's children. Less fortunate people are in every city of the US.
Im planning to go to epicenter tmrw...can anyone tell me wat all places to visit?
It's on place really.
Corner of College and Trade, you can't miss it.
Go to the very top to the rooftop area(you will hear music).
People will be hanging out some in the sun some in the shade under umbrellas or the small structure thing. Whiskey River and Suite will be open for everyone to walk in and out of.
I believe the dueling piano bar "Howl and the Moon" opens as well!
Rock n' Roll Emporium on Independence is closing and will move to the Epicenter this fall under a new name Revolution. This is just the type of retail that we need Uptown so I am excited.

Good catch mike and good for RnR Emporium. That part of independence is a dying street.
well, this topic appears to be old, but I'm bumping it I guess...Coming for a visit to Charlotte in a month & staying at the aLoft. Any recommendations on places to go at the EpiCenter area? If you want to throw in other suggestions of places to go in Charlotte, that would be nice too.
thanks
