Hi all,
I'm looking for a walking buddy or 2 for morning walks about 3 days a week. Right after the school bus takes off. Looking to walk from Old Timber up to Mallard Creek Ch Rd and back...that's about 5 & 1/2 miles altogether. I'm not a fast walker, but I am looking to try to walk until I can jog (hopefully).

Have you tried recruiting a few of your nearest neighbors? Or how about some of the parents of your school age child?

My wife loves to run. There are some running clubs/forums if you Google them you should find a few.

I tired that. Actually I used to walk with others in the same neighborhood, but one by one they dropped out. Everyone else wants to walk in the evening, which to me takes away form my kids so I need to walk in the morning before I get my day started. Tried going walking alone a few times, but my husband flipped out...said it wasn't safe
