I am new to the area and looking for someplace for my soon to be 3 yr old. I am not wanting full time daycare etc and just looking for a few mornings a week etc. Would I look for a moms morning out or a preschool? I do prefer the learning side better then a sitter of sorts.

Can anyone recommend ones to look up in the phone book and find? Or even ones that I should stay far far far away from

TIA

And We LOVE it!!

The only one in my area that I have heard really bad things about is right by Shiloh elementary. I will go look up the name. But I have heard SERIOUS cleanliness issues and they have been shut down for hand foot and mouth outbreaks.

ETA: It is the daycare affiliated with Christ Community Church on Rogers Rd in Monroe, HTH!

I found myself in the same position when we moved here over the summer. The only places I found that did part time programs were churches, all of the other school type of programs were full time only. I now have my 3 year old in a part time program at a local church and am very happy. We live in Lincoln County so I can't be of any help actually recommending a place.

My neighbors' kids all attend the MMO/pre-school at Southbrook and they love it.
