We live in Charlotte and are wanting to put in a part privacy/part split rail fence in our backyard. We are looking for someone who can provide a good quality fencing product with reliable service. We would also like the workers to be conscientious in their work. Our neighbors went with a major fence company for their yard and were disappointed by the sloppy work performed. Thank you!

I used Champion Fence for our split rail and it didn't have a problem. The fence has been up a little over a year with no problems yet. They also have a lifetime warranty.

I'm sure they are pricier than some, but if you get a few bids they will match. I got them to lower the price 400 bucks to match another bid. That may be a little out of context since they charge by length, so the 400 would be a 20 percent drop in price.

I did the security system for a fence company, Premier Fence & Deck. They have been in business for a couple of years now so I'm sure they do good work, and they were all extremely nice people too. They give free estimates so there is no reason not to at least get an estimate from them.

Here is their website (http://www.yourpremierfence.com/newsite/ - broken link). (phone number is in the top left)

Tell them Kyle (from Guardian) recommended them!

I've put up two fences at two different homes in Charlotte. Town and Country fence came in with the best price both times and I got three estimates each time. I have recommended them to two or three friends who have used them and have also been pleased. I saved several hundred on my last split-rail fence and about $1000 on a black metal fence in my previous home. I highly recommend them for price and quality.
