How would you compare

Huntersville, Concord, Mooresville, Cornelius, Matthews.

The downtown areas,
The safest areas,
the areas with most crime,
personal reasons for liking and not liking,
the commutes,
the terrain, rural, city, urban, bedroom community, country,
which are flat vs hilly.

Thank you!

Huntersville is almost totally built in the last 30 years. Many nice looking subdivisions and several new shopping centers, but it feel like a bedroom community without a proper "core".

Concord feels like a small city, it has a downtown with older buildings. It feels a little "dog eared" but also "real" if you like to see some grit to a place.

Mooresville is a little wealthier feeling than Concord, and a little smaller. It has a clean, walkable downtown of antique stores and small businesses.

Cornelius is something like Huntersville. It's a wealthy small town that grew very quickly. It's closer to lake Norman which you may see from some angles on the roads there.

There isn't much to Matthews. It abuts southeast Charlotte, and aside from a few blocks in the center with small stores, it looks just like the rest of Charlotte's residential areas built in the 1970s-1990s. The Family Dollar national headquartes is there. Whoo-hoo.

In addition, much of the city of Charlotte is suburban.

You can't go wrong in Hunterville, Concord, Cornelius or Mooresville. Don't know much about Matthews.

Steele Creek certainly comes to mind.
