We're coming down from Raleigh today and are looking for suggestions for tasty, locally-owned restaurants to check out for dinner and maybe lunch tomorrow. I've already heard Cowfish is worth checking out. We'll try just about anything Thanks!

Don't know what part of Charlotte you are coming to, what kind of money you wanted to spend, or what kind of food you like, but these would be some of my suggestions...

If you like Italian Food....Villa Antonio(Ballantyne or South Blvd) is excellent, Toscana is also good in Southpark.

The Fig Tree is also a crowd Pleaser.

Like the other poster said, it depends on what you want to spend.
