I will be starting a new job on January 7 in Waxhaw and would like some recommendations for apartments. I am looking for a 2 bedroom apartment for under $1,000 for myself, my wife, and our 4 year old. Thank you.

not so many apartments in Waxhaw for rent, but you can find houses to rent here is one site to try but there are others
Waxhaw Home Rentals, Homes for Rent in Waxhaw NC, Apartments, Houses for Rent, and Rental Homes in Waxhaw, North Carolina

http://www.homes.com/rentals/NC/City/WAXHAW/

http://www.realtor.com/homesforrent/...urce=web#/pg-2

we know several people renting for a year while they continue to look, you may also try rent by owner type deals, you can try entering subdivisions too

You may want to try looking in the Ballentyne area....there are quite a number of apartments there, as well as condos. The area is really growing fast. There are plenty of things to see and do there. My son lives in Waxhaw...and finds it very "time consuming" to drive from Waxhaw to South Blvd...where he works. You will probably find quite the opposite...since you would be going into Waxhaw..about the time that everyone is heading out. Of course, you might find it more convenient to live in Waxhaw...with gas prices probably going up in the near future. Good Luck with whatever decision that you make.
