Ok, Ok, I do swear that I'm not 89 years old as I ask this question, but is anyone aware of a home delivery service for milk/eggs/butter that sort of dairy type thing. A few years ago I had service such as this where I had that metal insulated box on my front stoop to hold my goodies.

I've tried doing some web research, but haven't spotted any such service. Anybody aware of such a thing in this neck of the woods?

Awww. I remember having a milk chute at my childhood home in Detroit. However, even with insulation, milk is an extremely phf (potentially hazardous food). For optimum safety, it should be kept under 45 degrees, and preferrably around 40, and most insulated boxes will not keep it that cold.

Harris Teeter had some stores that delivered, but I do not know if they still offer this service and its based on zip code.

I work remotely from home, so my milk won't turn phf. LOL! And I'm definitely not thinking the Harris Teeter kind of delivery...

That is so good to know. We loved getting our glass bottles of milk delivered and weren't sure it was something still available. Thanks for the inquiry.

Lakeview farms now delivers to most of Union County. We've enjoyed them since we moved here in March. I can't say enough nice things about this company and the service they provide. Please try them out. You will love it.

Have they expanded their service area since we discussed this a couple of months back? At the time, several of us contacted them and we weren't in the service area.

Where do you live? We are in Lawson and they don't deliver out here yet, but if enough people are interested they will.
