I am looking for ideas for a hotel uptown. I'm celebrating my 50th birthday next month and some friends from high school are coming to visit for a girls night out. Any suggestions? I am not familiar with uptown at all. I know there are clubs there. Not too pricey though. Thanks

I was going to recommend Omni as well, its across the street Epicentre or Holiday Inn Uptown which is cross the street from clubs on 7th Street. 2 blocks separate the two.

The Ritz would be a nice option too.

You might also want to check out the Dunhill Hotel. It's smaller historic building in uptown.
