Crowne Plaza on McDowell is around $125/nt. They're usually a good bet.

Hilton Garden Inn by the NASCAR HOF. The Westin (the flat looking building right near 277 on the southwest part of town).

If the Marriott Center City is booked-up, I'd recommend The Hilton, The Omni, The Dunhill, The Marriott Courtyard and then the Holiday Inn.

These are all very walkable to everything on the Trade & Tryon strip.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn and really enjoyed it. The staff was excellent. I'm not sure if they're finished with the construction though, but you can check on that.

^^ I can also recommend the Holiday Inn Center City. Perfect location. The hotel has been recently remodelled and the rooms were very nice for a Holiday Inn!

I also think it's one of the more reasonably priced ones.

Default Thanks

Hilton it is. Reserved. BTW-their cancellation policy sucks. I couldn't make a reservation without agreeing that if I cancel I am charged one night.
OK-Don't plan on cancelling.

All those that answered Hilton -you win a free drink on me. DM for day and time.
