Does anyone know why there is a car upside down near Auto City on Independence? That area already looks shiatty enough without dumping cars on their roof.

There's one at a dealership off South Blvd, on Tyvola, I think it was. I assume it's to garner attention.

If you noticed it, then the upside down car has done its job.

If its to garner attention, then mission accomplished. I will be sure to never go into whatever shiathole (which I assume is Auto City since Keffer is closed) put it there.

I have wondered the same thing. There is glass on the ground too.. would have thought they'd sweep it up.

You would think that this would be a city code violation, but, of course, the East side is being ignored again.

Wow, sounds like Independence is starting to get a little better these days. All I'm hearing about is only a car on it's roof. Not bad.

jwp1983 - what does that mean? "sounds like Independence is starting to get a little better these days" I might be moving to Independence. Is there something I should know? Is there usually more trouble going on there?

Also, my question from another thread which hopefully someone will answer. Do Ohio people have an attitude toward Kentuckians. I know someone that lives in NKY and she feels they do. Has anyone experienced this? ( A superior, snobbish attitude)

I am thinking you have this thread mixed up and are referring to Independence, Missouri. The OP is referring to a street in Charlotte, NC, not a town in Missouri.

Independence Blvd used to be a main artery here in Charlotte but has undergone a lot of changes in demographics, partially due to the way the city has grown/changed and partially due to traffic patterns. In addition, some retailers have found it nearly impossible to stay in business b/c patrons have difficulty with access in and out of parking lots.

****ETA: sorry - didn't see your post at the time I replied, lol
