Is this preferred?

I am looking @ relocating from NJ to NC sometime in 2011. Currently job hunting.

I am also looking @ the apartments. I know some family lives in this area and when I visited a few times before, I really liked the layout of the location. So, I was looking at these apartment communities...

Ashford Green
Phillips University Center
Arwen Vista
Thornberry

I would like to stay away from the low end areas, where the low-lifes are, so let me know if the University Area is ok.

Thanks,
JE

Thornberry is good, close to 85 and unc. Also look at Berkely Place apts, it's next to Thornberry.

My daughter lived at Berkley Place and she liked it. She said it was quiet and she always felt safe when she came home from work late at night. The few maintenance problems she had were taken care of promptly. I own and manage an apartment complex and I was pleased with the management staff when we looked over the complex. They were informative and were not at all pushy.

Arwen Vista & Phillips - are brand new and clean. Arwen Vista has a quieter location...Phillips is right on Harris Blvd and up against the interstate. The other apts are older and not as updated.

Could also look into Ashley Court or Abbington Place, both are located a little off the road, quieter, and not too expensive either, they are on Berkeley Place, past Berkeley Place Apts.
