My wife and I are looking at buying a new home from Bonterra Builders in their Bonterra Village community and want to know if there are any newer comments from anyone out there. The homes seem very nice and all the people I have met in the neighborhood seem to love it. We have done our research on the monroe bypass toll road and were pleased with those resluts (WE have a friend at the DOT and he was very positive about the new road and the impact on the area and specifically the Bonterra Village) I am more interested in basic "family" things etc... Thanks
Jack & Susan

I was hoping to see some answers to your questions....did you find out anything? We too are looking at a home and have heard encouraging news....but from the Bonterra rep. They said they'd lose their entrance....well that's really close to a lot of homes in the Village. I'd appreciate hearing anything solid that you've found out!

I am also looking in Bonterra. I absolutely think the community is beautiful and has lots to offer. One thing that I love about the community is EVERYONE keeps up their yards. That is something I have been looking for. I would also like some feedback on the community. Another question I have is what all does the homeowners include? Are the dues different in different parts of the community? Does the community offer free internet service? Is it true basic TWC is included, but that is the only service provider you can use? Any feedback would be great?

The HOA is $825 per year which is $69 a month. I will send you a direct message with the HOA handbook and a quick snapshot of what is included.

Bonterra Village offers multiple playgrounds, and olympic size swimming pool/cabana with a kiddy pool area, Soccer fields and tennis courts make this community stand out and really a great buy with some of the best schools in the nation. There are 10 miles of walking trails and sidewalks. Nearby community amenities include restaurants, shops and the Siskey YMCA. Bonterra is also offering $3000 in closing costs if you use Bonterra's lender which is great.

Bonterra also uses very high quality construction materials which is obviously important. I have included a video of the community as well as a link to the HOA and also a link to the information on the schools. If you have any questions please send me a direct message.

Just be aware that when you are told that basic cable is "included" with your dues you are in fact paying for your cable. The HOA is billed for the basic cable and pays Time-Warner. You do not have to use Time-Warner as you can get Satalitte but you still "pay" for the basic cable weather you use it or not.

Been living in Bonterra since May and so far it's very nice and everyone's friendly. If there's a downside, it's the cell phone reception: it's AWFUL

I've lived in Bonterra Village for several years. What a nice community! Friendly people, horse lover's dream! Heard of issues with HOA, never had a problem myself. If you're interested in moving here, make sure to aquaint yourself with the rules of the neighborhood prior to signing on the dotted line and you'll have no problem...
