$10-15 plate variety would be fair to me- but it has to be good!

Check out Granville's. It's great food and inexpensive. It's downtown but not in the tourist area.

Go to the crabshack on Folly Beach. We went there tonight and it never disappoints!! Get the crab bucket - crab legs, potatoes, sausage, and corn on the cob! Yummmmy! You can share a bucket w/ a friend for $15 each. Print out a coupon for a free crab dip on their website: CRAB SHACKS - Free Stuff. Have fun!

Sticky Fingers was great when I was there working to open the Don Pablo's in North Charleston. Is it still open?

Sticky Fingers? Of course, it's a strong local chain.

The Mustard Seed & Settee IV in Mt. Pleasant are upscale, not-a-chain, correctly priced foodie choices.

I second the Crab Shack on Folly Beach...yum! The Mustard Seed also has restaurants on James Island and Summerville - both of which I LOVE (their crabcakes can't be beat). Gilligans on Johns Island and in Summerville is good too...they have steamed, boiled, and fried ...whatever you want. They have the best hushpuppies around and great she crab soup! All of the ones I just suggested are reasonably priced and casual dining.

I think Mustard Seed on James Island is better. I know, it's silly b/c it's owned by the same people, but I promise - it's better!! But either way - Mustard Seeds are wonderful!!!!!
