I have one of the original Droids. Phone works great, and I have OS 2.2 instlaled. For the past few weeks, My camera app has been acting up. When the app starts, I get a black screen. The app has a tendency to freeze and crash if I try to take a picture, or try to quit the applicaiton. The problem started before 2.2 was released. I was hoping that instlaling the new OS would solve the problem, but no such luck.
I have a feeling that the app itslelf is somehow corrupt. All other apps seem to be working fine. Is there anyway to uninstall and re-install an app that is essentially a part of the OS? Any other ideas?
