Cameron Diaz (dime-a-dozen looks in So Cal, from San Diego)
Tori Spelling (at least a nose job, if not more - ugly, but has a rich daddy)
Jennifer Anniston (from "the Valley" and will never outgrow that)
Meg Ryan (the "cute as a button" casting stream seems to have ended)
Everyone mentioned so far could be on my list. 85% of Hollywood's A list actresses are bad imho or at least overrated which goes for their male counterparts.
I was thinking this myself just the other day. How on earth do these people get to where they are, or even get a foot in the door?
Hollywood bigwigs know that if they want their projects (movies and TV shows) to have audiences, they have to cast at least one "hottie" in the lead. All too often, that woman is ice-cold in front of the camera. People have complained for decades about sexism in Hollywood, but I'm afraid it's just part of the business.
There are too many terrible actresses for me to list. Actors too.
