Kim and Kanye work 1,000,000,000,000 times harder than any of the Waltons, except Sam (who passed long ago).
The Waltons are evil, pure and simple.
The reason they don't want publicity is because they're shameful, yet to scared to actually do good in the world. They could change many lives for the better in this world, but they choose not to.

I think marrying B made Jay more commercial. Before Crazy In Love he was famous within the rap world but I don't think he had the kind of crossover appeal that he has now.
I agree with that. I also think Jay gave her street cred. She was in danger of getting too mainstream, her relationship with him gave her a bit of edge.

I had not thought about the Kardashian fortune in that way but you are absolutely right! The Kardashian famewhore thing is not sustainable (see Hilton, Paris and the cast of Jersey Shore heh), but Kanye can have the public fed up with him and still make a nice living behind the scenes because he has a real talent.
Well, at least baby North's future is secure. LOL.
I do think there is real affection between the two of them, but neither of them is capable of sustaining a real relationship long haul because in the end, Kim will always choose famewhoring and Kanye will always choose his music career and his ego. Not that I know them or anything but that's how they come across to me. I give it 3 years tops.
