I love catnip tea and I know our first cat (Woo) and Olivia would go crazy over the smell of the catnip tea brewing.
My wife liked to grow her own cat nip (don't know what it was exactly), and one night she left a rather large baggie of the stuff out on the kitchen counter while we were out for the evening. We had a very rambunctious cat named Mikey at the time, and of course, he found the nip while we were gone. We came home to find Mikey on his back in the middle of the kitchen floor, paws in the air, and his eyes barely open. All around him was the scattered contents of the ripped open baggie, and it was all over him. He had literally taken a bath in the stuff. He had no interest in moving, so we picked him up, combed all the nip out of his fur and put him to bed. Took a while to clean up the mess, and we realized his laid back brother Bo was missing in action. Found him hiding under the bed to get away from his crazy brother.
Mikey was always a very active, go getter type of cat. But he kept a low profile and slept most of the next day after the nip incident, which was unusual for him. So I figured he had the equivalent of a feline hangover. My wife didn't give the cats nip very often, and Mikey clearly over-dosed that time.

Awww, that's too cute! Made me chuckle a little bit as well.

it's so cold here in N.C. This pretty well sums up how I feel about winter.

That makes two of us. I hate winter with a passion.

Kitty in the pic has the right idea for sure.

We have had winter show up waaay early this year. My kitties just love my new comforter, especially if I'm under it to cuddle up to. During the day they become a tall kitty pile. (except for dinner time).
