Aside from us rescuing our kitten, we always adopt/rescue an adult cat. At adoptions, the kittens always go first and the older cats hardly get adopted.
We kep 3 cats as our max at any given time. When the awful time comes that one leaves us, we mourn, we wait, we say lets just keep 2 cats........but after a few months, we find an adult either through Petfinder.com or at a local adoption event and someone always comes home with us!
Its a great thing to give the adults a forever home!

Sometimes when I'm up in my room on the computer, my cat will come in, often to sit on my lap, but sometimes to sit on the back of the chair. So I decided to get a pic. Just took this a few minutes ago.

What a precious photo.... and a testament to loving & tolerant nature of dogs.
Well... most of them anyway.

Thanks.

LOL!!
My cats never tip my drinks over, but they do tend to leave hair & cat spit in it after getting a drink. So yeah.... I don't leave my drinks unattended either.

Nothing like some "floss" in form of cat hair in your red wine. Well, its that time of the year!

Oh I love this one! Thank you for the laugh. I'm still laughing! The expression on this cat's face and the knitted petals just slay me!
