He hasn't gone after the fish from the top, although he sometimes drinks the water and once actually moved the spraybar, which I was not happy about. I once saw him do an all out pounce from the stool straight into the glass, which also was a concern. I'm sure he will be fine no matter what, but 45 gallons of water on the floor and dead fish will not make me happy.

He has recently taken to loafing on the top, like it is his throne.
