Yeah, she's had that since she was about a year old (she's 11 now). We never knew who gave it to her. She's a very loving girl to her people, but she's got an attitude and does NOT take any crap from the other cats. If the truth was known, she probably started the ruckus that caused that ear notch.

It's not just the stairs. At least around my house, it also goes for all walkways, doorways, any high-traffic pathway, and especially the area right in front of the kitchen counter. Over the years I've become quite adept at stepping over, around, or straddling a cat as I muddle through my day to day routine. Something tells me I'm not alone in that regard.

We had virtual twins (adopted girls only 4 months apart in age) and I had to carry one baby on each hip up and down the stairs. the cats would play their "Aren't I cute" trick on the stairs and roll over to expose their tummies. It truly is a miracle we didn't break our necks tripping over spoiled cats during that time. I was a nervous wreck!

He loves to bury his head in things when he is super happy and content.

He is probably the most loving, gentle, and affectionate cat I've ever known. If you can handle the cuteness, check this out:
