On Cats101 they showed the Chantilly cats. So I looked them up.

Here's some pictures of the breed.

Baxter could be my cat's twin, although my cat is a mixed breed.

My Mr. Fuzzy

He's actually a little darker, but with the flash it makes him look lighter.

He has a few traits Chantillies typically do. He likes everybody in the house, but he is especially attached to me. He's constantly craving attention and very affectionate. When I sleep once he's done being affectionate he likes to lay in my bed and just be near me. It's really sweet.

She is a Callie. There is nothing sane about Callies. But she sure is a pretty one.

We have too callies. Next time they come into the house I'll try to get a picture of them. they are quite independent. Both have been spayed, so they get to enjoy the out doors. 2 years ago one had quite an experience with a piece of fishing line and a hook. We hear her screaming. Any how when we found her her paw was literally sewn to her lip. Apparently she had bit whatever was on the hook and the hook lodged in her lip. then she must have tried to rub the hook out of her mouth and shoved it all the way though her lip and got her paw stuck on it also. Fortunately she didn't swallow the hook. Using a pair of wire cutters and getting my wife to hold her down I managed to cut the hook in half and was able to pull it all the way through here lip and paw. It would have been over a 3 hour drive to get her to a vet. Managed to get the hook out in less than 5 minutes, with very little stress on her.

We never did find out were the hook and line came from We had no near neighbors then and we don't have any fishing equipment.

Well Woodrow - DH claims that our callies and I have/had somethings in common - temper and occasionally sporting a coat of many colors. ShadowCat was on death row, a street rat who probably lived in the dumpster of a mexican restaurant and then 49 days in a cage. We did not see much of her for almost the first year. There was a strange change last week - both her and Cha-Cha decided we can lift them up, they came to us asking for attention and no fur was flying between them. 100+ brush strokes twice a day are getting rough on my back but make her coat shine. Cha-Cha is finally getting around to some brushing.

I tried to fix the wonky code but I failed.

However if one is to copy/paste the actual URL into a web browser address bar, you can see the kitty.

She tends to "forget" the tail.

Thank you Sonic_Spork!

Here is my newest little freak of nature. My second Napoleon. I just love these guys, we call them our wiener cats. He's the brother of my Bunny the Cat.
