SO happy for you! What a great idea to use the CBD oil. I'm glad it's helping him feel better. And wonderful that he and your husband bonded while you were away. Stuff like that makes me all mushy inside. :-D

Do you live in an area that offers home visits from Veterinarians? Because you care so much for the cat it rwill make you feel better about having a small euthanasia ceremony at home. Just a thought.

I second this, and the time to call a vet about this is now, so you can establish a relationship and let the vet know about Gambo's status. I did this a few day's before our Tucker's death and it was helpful when "the time" came. I just called and she came out within the hour.

Something to consider. It was a peaceful, calm experience for us.

I found a lovely lady end of last year when I started preparing for the last day. We talked a few times, she has all information (address, etc) and I keep her posted on the status. We talked about how she comes in without using the bell, i just should text her where she finds us, maybe burrito Gambo in a towel. She is available 24/7 and standbye for us. I am sure gambo will also like her.

We also have a plan B with another mobile vet. Talked to him once, not as much in details but nice man. And plan C, the regular vet. He doesn’t do house calls but he said to me we could work something out if all other plans fail.

So yes, I agree 100% with your suggestions. Thanks Rene for telling me how peaceful it was for you.

Sitting with Gambo on the couch. LOVE LOVE LOVE him!!!!

So far so good. My husbands family is here for a week vacation. That threw our cat off a little. We had issues giving him his medicine one night, and it too three to to stabilize him again. But, back to eating, sleeping in our bed, and looking very cute. We are every day amazed that he is still with us. It has been over three months since his diagnosis ... :-)

Still ok, thanks for checking, catsmom. He refused to take his medicine for a day or two and he got immediately worse There is no way to get it in his ears, if he refuses it. So I ordered now compounded pred. without flavor. The idea is to mix it in his baby food :-) he is back to “normal” and we enjoy the time we have together.
