Well his eye is bruised
We have drops to put in it, no scratches so that was a good thing. The cloudiness is from the fluid leaking behind the eye, and the discoloration is from the blood leaking behind the eye. He gets re-checked in a week to see how he is. If he's not perfectly clear - can still be a bit of discoloration but no cloudiness, then he has to see the ophthalmologist to make sure there is no other damage. But the vet said he's pretty sure all will clear up with the drops and time.
It's blunt force trauma that causes it and it does happen - not all the time, but often enough. (Lucky me!) HA! So we just wait and do the drops 2x daily. I feel so bad for him
