Maybe they should poll people that actually pay taxes. "More" of nothing is still nothing......

What if everyone had to pay. Example- Take the rail system bill that passed a last year. I can't remember the exact cost but in the billions. If you are a resident of Ca and a bond passes you have to pay a certain percentage in taxes for that bond. I'll use 1% for easy figuring. If you make 10,000 a year (even if it's a welfare check) you are going to pay 100 towards the bond and if you make 100,000 you're going to pay 1000. That way maybe everyone would think a little harder about how they vote.

When the state becomes a majority of Hispanics, who is going to pay for all this welfare? Entitlements are a growth industry. I think the politicians see this but so long as nothing bad happens during their term they don't care.
